Children’s Week is a national, annual event celebrated in the fourth week of October. It is a week to celebrate the right of children to enjoy childhood, and also a time for children to demonstrate their talents, skills and abilities.
In 2021, Children’s Week National Theme is a child’s right to choose their own friends and safely connect with others.
City of Palmerston is celebrating the important role children play in our community by holding a FREE Children’s Week event jam-packed with fun, creative activities for children up to 5 years of age.
Kids will be with buzzing with excitement as they choose from numerous activities including: face painting, arts and crafts activities, a jumping castle, storytime, cuddly critters plus much more!. Parents can purchase coffee and have the opportunity to connect with local services and program providers.
